Country + 人

Remember the rule: a nationality is the country + 人 (person), and the question 哪国人 puts "which country" exactly where the answer will go.

Most country names end in 国 (guó, country): 中国, 美国, 英国, 法国, 德国. A few don't: 日本 (Rìběn, Japan), 加拿大 (Jiānádà, Canada).
